pleasant stay
spacious roomexcellent wififantastic staff
i found the room spacious and clean. the free wifi worked excellently, i really liked i could open the windows (fresh air!). parking was also free, which i thought was fantastic. the breakfast was lovely, i enjoyed the variety. the poached eggs were the best i have ever had, with a great portion of baked beans. the staff were fantastic and not in your face.
the tv in my room was the size of a tablet.

the staff were warm and friendly each day of my stay. they were attentive to my needs, promptly addressing requests, and maintaining a positive and helpful attitude (really appreciated!).

the parking area accommodated vans easily, a great feature for those with larger vehicles. breakfast started early, proving ideal with early work schedules. i found the breakfast to be lovely and filling each morning.

the breakfast was good and the portions were generous.
Upon arrival, i had to check in at a sister hotel next door. There was no clear indication of this initially. the surroundings of the actual building looked run down and neglected. no plugs were available for the bath or sink.

Mediocre Stay with Noticeable Issues
dirty bathroomflat pillows
The room smelled strange. The bathroom was not clean. I saw hair in the shower and used cotton buds on the floor. there were empty bottles of shampoo. I found thick dust on the skirting boards. The bed was too firm and the pillows were flat.
